Stacks and Random Access Hotels are designed with human interfacing
in mind. Both provide for hand loading from one side and robotic
access from the other. Our new dual
grip finger design allows the KiNEDx robot to access both Stacks
and Hotels.

Stack
and Pod Package
Designed
for bulk storage of SBS microplates, these Plate Stacks come in two
standard heights with capacity of 30 or 45 standard plates. They are
precision machined using our aluminum extrusions and then powder coated
with a chemical-resistant finish. The Teflon-coated removable base
features hardened 3-point datums for repeatable alignment.
Our
Plate Hotels are designed for automated random-access storage of SBS
microplates. They come in two standard heights with capacity of 15
or 22 standard plates with lids. We CNC everything and have optional
spacing for deep-well plates, tube racks, tip racks, etc. The Teflon-coated
removable base features hardened 3-point datums for repeatable alignment.
This
Stack and Pod Base package is designed for direct interface with the
KiNEDx Robot. It accepts up to four standard or tall FILO stacks giving
capacities of 120 or 180 standard plates respectively. The solid aluminum
base is CNC’d and Teflon coated. It features a multipoint datum
registration system and a one-touch lock button for repeatable alignment.
Optional sensors and LED’s are available for Stack verification.

This
Hotel and Pod Base package is designed for direct interface with the
KiNEDx Robot. It accepts up to four standard or tall Random Access
Hotels giving capacities of 60 or 88 standard plates respectively.
The solid aluminum base is CNC’d and Teflon coated. It features
a multipoint datum registration system and a one-touch lock button
for repeatable alignment. Optional sensors and LED’s are available
for Stack verification.
The
Plate Depot is for use in applications requiring high-capacity bulk
storage of microtitre plates. It holds 10 individual Plate Stacks
(portrait orientation) and has a capacity of 300 or 450 standard microplates.
Stacks easily click into the carousel base where a multipoint datum
registration system ensures repeatable alignment. No separate controller
is required. All electronics reside onboard and a single serial cable
connects between the Plate Cache and user PC.
The
Plate Cache is for use in applications requiring high-capacity random-access
storage of microtitre plates. It holds 10 individual Plate Hotels
(portrait orientation) with capacities of 150 or 220 standard plates
with lids. Hotels easily click into the carousel base where a multipoint
datum registration system ensures repeatable alignment. No separate
controller is required. All electronics reside onboard and a single

This

plate storage. It has a capacity of 30 or 45 standard plates. All
Pod Base parts are precision machined on our CNC and then coated with
a low-friction Teflon-coating. It features a multipoint datum registration
system and a one-touch retainer button for repeatable insertion of
the Stack. An optional sensor and LED is available for Stack presence
verification.
This
single Hotel and Pod Base combo is designed for lower capacity random
access plate storage. It has a capacity of 15 or 22 standard plates.

Our
industry-exclusive Q-Stacker is a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) plate
stacker designed for sequential batch processing of microplates, e.g.,
assays requiring room temperature incubation. The Q-Stacker can often
replace larger and more complex random access storage schemes. It
can be run in both manual and fully automatic modes.
