	Description Manufacturing Peak Robotics is a manufacturer that designs and builds robots, robotic systems, and automated equipment for a variety of laboratory and manufacturing applications. Most manufacturing of our robots and systems is done in-house. We anticipate ISO certification in the future and a majority of ISO procedures are already in place now to ease this transition. Background Made in the U.S.A. The original founders of the company were degreed engineers with many years’ experience in factory automation and robotics prior to incorporating in 1989. The company started out (under the name of MEKAnize Inc.) as a designer of special machines and integrator of robotic and motion control products and then expanded into manufacturing its own robots. All Peak's robots are made in the USA. This includes design as well as manufacturing. Most OEM parts used in the arms are also made in the USA. We put a high priority on this philosophy because of the improved control it gives us over quality and deliveries. In addition, we are also a firm believer in using local suppliers whenever possible helping to support the local economy Flexibility Applications Support The company, as well as the product line, remains highly flexible and devoted to each customer’s special needs. Custom-engineered robots are always a portion of the business and the standard robot line can easily be modified and customized for special applications. Our applications engineering group has extensive experience in automation and robotics. They are always ready to help with a tough application and can propose a turn-key solution, recommend a local systems integrator, or just supply individual components. In any case, we are dedicated to ensuring our customers get the best overall solution.
